Stenciled Powder Room

This powder room wall finish is inspired by a Fortuny Fabric. I made a drawing based on a photo and added in some of the extra design needed for a repeat pattern.
My first step was to paint a soft golden paint finish on the walls.
I then refined my drawing into a tracing, and then cut out a template stencil from it. I needed to make an extension stencil because of the size limits on the paper. Being such an intricate stencil it took a beating.
The last steps are several layers of glazes over the design to make the contrast softer.
